The GHFP believes that inter-religious dialogue is the key to mutual understanding, humility and hope. So part of GHFP work is to initiate and investigate aspects of dialogue and the practice of spirituality and religion as these relate to individual growth and social transformation. |

The GHFP sponsors diverse inter-religious and interfaith events and projects: |

Most recently, our research has been focused on how spirituality and religion may have an impact on contemporary life, including an exploration of values and assumptions that underpin science, morality and economics. It is hoped that such research may help to inform genuine dialogue amongst people from across cultures and religions. |

The GHFP creates and facilitates spaces for dialogue between people from diverse backgrounds and worldviews. We believe that when individuals connect with their inner world, they can at the same time feel the inter-relatedness and interdependence of all human beings, and of all life in the world. This is the fundamental basis of dialogue and compassionate listening. |

| |
To bring forward ideas developed through our research, projects and engagement in dialogue, the GHFP funds, or makes key contributions to, the publication of literature on inter-religious dialogue and spirituality. As an example, we have sponsored the translation and printing of the words of Muhammad Subud Sumohadiwidjojo, a Javanese spiritual thinker. This sequence, entitled 'Bapak's Talks', explores the foundation of an inter-religious form of spiritual experience and the application to everyday life. |
